Have YOU Ever Felt This Way?

We did when we lived in LA. Right off one of the busiest street in West LA. It's been WAY quieter since moving to our peaceful, Midwestern suburb, but oh, yes! We certainly felt this way in LA. In fact there was one time when someone abandoned their Jeep right outside our apartment building (and of course our windows faced the street). The alarm on the Jeep kept going off for DAYS! And we couldn't even call the cops or parking enforcement because it was the beginning of Passover and we couldn't use the phone for the first three days (shabbos and then two days of Pesach!). We were all almost insane by the time the holiday was over and we could call parking enforcement. Even our friends who lived in the back of the building heard the alarm and were going nuts!

Then the stupid happened. They came and towed the Jeep, then BROUGHT IT BACK!!! We actually had to call again and have them take the vehicle away permanently. I don't think the owner ever returned...

That was some Passover...
