Funny how the Republicans love calling Barack Obama an elitist, out of touch rich dude. Except he's more in touch with the people than McSame could ever be. Here's a headline from the AP today:

McCain Not Sure How Many Houses He and Wife Own

WASHINGTON - Days after he cracked that being rich in the U.S. meant earning at least $5 million a year, Republican presidential candidate John McCain acknowledged that he wasn't sure how many houses he and his wealthy wife actually own.

"I think — I'll have my staff get to you," McCain responded to a question posed by Politico, according to a story Thursday on the publication's Web site. "It's condominiums where — I'll have them get to you."

And let's not forget his "rich is making over $5,000,000" remark:

In a forum last week with the Rev. Rick Warren, McCain was asked to define the word "rich" and to give a figure. After promoting his tax policies, McCain said: "I think if you are just talking about income, how about $5 million?" The audience laughed, and he added: "But seriously, I don't think you can — I don't think seriously that — the point is that I'm trying to make here, seriously — and I'm sure that comment will be distorted — but the point is that we want to keep people's taxes low and increase revenues."

The problem is there's nothing to distort. He never ACTUALLY named a sum, unlike his rival, who DID, and a much more reasonable sum.

Hm. Obama owns ONE home, the one in which his family actually LIVES. He comes from a very modest background. And the only reason he's rich now isn't because he married a beer heiress or took a job on Wall Street (and he had plenty of job opportunities). He's rich because he worked hard and is an inspirational person.

McElite, on the other hand DUMPED his first wife, married a beer heiress, and pretends to be a people person. Except the man is SO F*****G rich he doesn't even KNOW HOW MANY PROPERTIES HE OWNS!!! How is that NOT elitist?! He's so out of touch with reality that he DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO MAKE LESS THAN $5,000,000 a year and thinks THAT'S being middle class!!!

And people out there actually think he'll be able to CONNECT with them and help them and better the economy?!
