Manipulative Quote of the Day

The subject: The Idiot in the White House campaigning for Republicans. The problem: VERY low approval rating - 80% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. The quote:

[Spokesman Scott] Stanzel shrugged off Bush's record-low approval ratings, and polls showing that four out of five Americans think the country is on the wrong track, saying: "It would be interesting to note the approval rating of Congress, as well, which is lower than all of those numbers that you cite."

Except for one problem, Mr. Stanzel. The Democrats still do NOT have enough of a majority, especially in the Senate, where you need a 2/3 (that's TWO THIRDS) majority to get anything done, in Congress. I suspect this problem will be resolved come November and the Democrats will not only hold an overwhelming majority in Congress (House AND Senate), but the White House as well, God willing...
