Anniversary of the Six Day War

This from the AFP News Service, in an article published today:
"President Mahmud Abbas said the creation of a Palestinian state would expunge the memory of the crushing Arab defeat in the war which saw Israel wipe out three Arab armies and conquer vast swathes of territory."

Vast swathes of territory?! Has anybody ever compared a map of Israel, including the "occupied terrirories," to one of the rest of the Arab world?!
