Hillary's Twisted Reality

Once again, Hillary twists reality to fit her own needs. When Michigan decided to hold its primary too early, thus causing the huge ruckus about Michigan and Florida and whether the delegates from those states should be counted at the convention in August, Obama and Edwards agreed to adhere to party rules and REMOVED their names from the ballot in Michigan (it was too late in Florida, but none of the candidates campaigned in either state). Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, decided to LEAVE her name ON the ballot in Michigan, thus not only claiming "victory" there, but also claiming SHE won the popular vote nationally. SO, of course, she was NOT happy with yesterday's decision to split the delegates in Michigan (not 50-50, by the way - Obama got less than Hillary did):

The sticking point was Michigan, where Obama's name was not on the ballot.

Clinton's camp insisted Obama shouldn't get any pledged delegates in Michigan
since he chose not to put his name on the ballot, and she should get 73 pledged delegates with 55 uncommitted.
All of a sudden, now, it's not that Obama followed the rules of the DNC. It's that he CHOSE NOT to keep his name on the ballot!

I'm sorry, but on what planet does Hillary live? She has done everything during the primaries to try and get the nomination. She has lied, she has twisted the truth to serve her own purposes, and she has run a COMPLETELY negative and played dirty politics. The interesting thing is, while discrediting opponents in the past BY playing dirty and running negative campaigns on behalf of her husband, this tactic has simply failed her again and again over the last five months. Thank God this is almost over, Obama will the nominee and hopefully the next president, and Hillary will simply fade to the sidelines and go back to being the senator from New York.

Let's just hope she doesn't drag this out until the convention at the end of August, thus causing irreparable damage to the party, destroying ANY chance of having, finally, after eight LONG years, a Democratic president, and causing to have yet another at LEAST four years of Republican "leadership" that has led this country into a depression. Let's just hope...
