FRESNO, Calif. - John McCain distanced himself Monday from a top adviser who said another terrorist attack on U.S. soil this election year would benefit the Republican presidential candidate. Barack Obama's campaign called the comment a "complete disgrace."
Charlie Black, an adviser already in the spotlight for his past lobbying work, is quoted in the upcoming July 7 edition of Fortune magazine as saying such an attack "certainly would be a big advantage to him."
Ok. This guy's an ultra-moron. Not only is he, as the Republicans tend to do, using the whole politics of fear thing, which is just dumb. He's also a complete nincompoop! His logic is VERY fuzzy. If, God forbid, there WERE another terrorist attack on US soil, wouldn't it PROVE the the Republi-Stupids have FAILED MISERABLY? Wouldn't that automatically be a BOOM for Obama? Not that a terrorist attack would be good in ANY case, obviously, but if, God forbid there were one, it would CERTAINLY show the Republicans are completely inept at fighting terror, wouldn't it, now.
