Please read Pride and Prejudice. I know it seems girly, but I made my husband read it and he loved it...

I do want to read the Hobbit, someday. If I can get through it MAYBE I'll try the others....

I'll think about Pride and Prejudice. Right now I'm a bit back-logged with library books and need to get through them (at least I'm not bored!).

As for Lord of the Rings, truth is the movies are exponentially better than the books, the scenery is breathtaking, and the Special editions, which are longer than the theatrical releases, are fantastic. They actually, probably, rank above Star Wars as my all time favorite movies (can you believe that?!).

The problem with the books is that, while the stories are good in and of themselves, Tolkien is so descriptive and long-winded that he takes the fun out of reading the story. The only good thing about him being so descriptive is that when they finally went to make the movie, the location where they filmed (New Zealand) was the perfect place and fit Tolkien's descriptions perfectly.

So, next time email me to let me know you are going to tag me. I rarely check your site since you rarely blog...:)

How are Erin and the baby?
