This is SUCH a Non-Issue!!

Now, don't get me a wrong! This is a very noble goal. After all, didn't Superman try this in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace? Why, yes! Yes, he did. And certainly, it's a wonderful idea to try and guarantee that nut cases like Mahmoud Ahmedinejad not have access to such weapons.

But I don't believe this is or should be an election issue. Issues should be getting the hell out of Iraq, national Healthcare, education (programs that actually work, unlike the Idiot's "No Child Left Behind" initiative...), and Social Security. But, of course, as always, candidates (what an ironic term) like to focus on issues that really shouldn't be election issues.

Know what would be great if we want Hillary defeated? John Edwards and Barack Obama should become running mates (preferably with Edwards as president - I think he's make a good one). Unfortunately, this won't happen because their are both too stuck-up. What will happen, however, is that Hillary will win the Primaries. But she won't win the presidency. Not because she's a woman. I don't care if a candidate is a woman or a man as long as he or she is qualified. However, Hillary simply is NOT electable. And her winning the primaries will give the White House to the Republicans for at least one more term. Not a good thing, folks. Not a good thing at all.

Oh, well. I guess we'll just have to wait until 2012. Maybe I'll run...:)
