The sticking point was Michigan, where Obama's name was not on the ballot. All of a sudden, now, it's not that Obama followed the rules of the DNC. It's that he CHOSE NOT to keep his name on the ballot!
Clinton's camp insisted Obama shouldn't get any pledged delegates in Michigan since he chose not to put his name on the ballot, and she should get 73 pledged delegates with 55 uncommitted.
I'm sorry, but on what planet does Hillary live? She has done everything during the primaries to try and get the nomination. She has lied, she has twisted the truth to serve her own purposes, and she has run a COMPLETELY negative and played dirty politics. The interesting thing is, while discrediting opponents in the past BY playing dirty and running negative campaigns on behalf of her husband, this tactic has simply failed her again and again over the last five months. Thank God this is almost over, Obama will the nominee and hopefully the next president, and Hillary will simply fade to the sidelines and go back to being the senator from New York.
Let's just hope she doesn't drag this out until the convention at the end of August, thus causing irreparable damage to the party, destroying ANY chance of having, finally, after eight LONG years, a Democratic president, and causing to have yet another at LEAST four years of Republican "leadership" that has led this country into a depression. Let's just hope...
