Yeah, I know those look the same. The points of difference only make sense to a Dutchman.... 'one Dutchman, a bleiver. Two Dutchmen, a congregation. Three Dutchmen, a schism'.
This is my church, that is his church, and that one over there is the congregation that we pretend doesn't exist.
Not to be confused with the Presbyterians - we don't talk to that lot.
Until about three generations ago, both sides of the family were sodden with Dutch reform.
The term "Datheen psaltery" could start a war among some of those people. In fact, it did.
